While drawing inspiration from Renaissance aesthetic codes, such as black backgrounds, lace, velvet, and jewelry typical of the 16th century, ANNABELLE blends eras with subjects that reflect hyper-contemporary beauty standards. She thus creates a timeless, mysterious, and independent female figure, a modern warrior draped in lace, whose appearance recalls that of social media celebrities in a Renaissance setting.

This work is titled Cassia, embodying a modern warrior with a blend of classical and contemporary aesthetics. Cassia wears a Roman-style helmet, adorned with red and aged metal, a symbol of bravery, history, and ancient warfare. This helmet evokes the centurions of the Roman Empire, emphasizing her role as a warrior.
In her left hand, she holds an ace of hearts, a symbol of mystery, hidden power, or a strategic move. This iconographic choice evokes cunning and tactical intelligence, essential qualities of a warrior.
